Java on the Cloud

A bunch of companies are working on a Java based solution to cloud computing. It will be using the Spring framework. It will run on vSphere from VMware. And it will be hosted on the servers. This beat will be called VMforce. I guess that means that VMware is the main company behind it.

This solution will be able to host any Java application in the cloud. There are around 6 million Java developers out there. Cloud computing is supposed to boost their productivity. So if this works, this may have a big impact on their productivity. Look for VMforce to be available later this year.
